Job Description	ECU Department of Engineering is currently seeking an ECU Student to serve as an Outreach Assistant 10/1/2024 to 5/15/2025 The Outreach Assistant will assist the Engineering office staff and faculty with various tasks to include: External communications with interested students, alumni, and industry partners Maintain and update alumni database Monitor/post to departmental social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) Coordinate with College of Engineering and Technology Public Communications Specialist Plan/coordinate departmental outreach events on campus and in local communities Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate and work effectively with a broad range of people Ability to take initiative and contact external parties, while also collaborating within the department and College Knowledge of social media appropriate content
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)	Preferred Qualifications: Junior status, senior status, or graduate student in Communications or Engineering 3.0 cumulative GPA
