Summary/Objective The R&D Technician/Engineer can work within a dynamic group to meet project goals and timelines. The person in this position must be well organized, detail oriented, and have the flexibility to handle multiple project assignments. The position requires walking and standing primarily on a level surface for extended periods. Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, and/or lifting as much as 50 lbs. in a repetitive manner are common. The performance of this position requires exposure to the manufacturing areas were the use of personal protective equipment is mandatory. For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional equipment as typically found in the manufacturing plant environment, however, working outdoors is sometimes required. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary.
