1.0 FTE - Day Shifts

Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in social work required
  • 1-2 years' experience in a healthcare setting, preferred
  • Current LICSW license through the Minnesota Board of Social Work
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire


Job Responsibilities:



  • Assists patients and their families with concerns that accompany illness or inhibit recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Interviews, assesses/screens, diagnoses, and treats patients in need of mental healthcare.
  • Initiates necessary referrals to appropriate community resources and provides crisis intervention as needed.
  • Attends organizational committees and work groups as assigned by supervisor.
  • Establishes and completes at least one quality improvement project each year.
  • Promotes staff development by creating an environment of learning and rediscovery.
  • Acts as a community liaison.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a current driver's license.
  • Other duties as assigned.
