ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Must be able to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and the public.

Will provide adult guidance and discipline when necessary to ensure safety of students and property.

Enforce all building/district rules and policies, specifically, closed campus policy and all parking lot regulations.

Monitor all parking areas of the high school campus.

Monitor high school campus grounds.

Supervise/monitor students, halls, cafeteria, male locker rooms, and male restrooms.

Direct high school parking lot traffic before or after school.

Other duties, as assigned by administrators.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Red Cross and CPR certified or willing to take First Aid class.

Dependable work record.

Positive and friendly work attitude.

Ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision by administration and/or faculty members.

Ability to get along with and communicate well with staff, students and public.

Ability to supervise and appropriately monitor and report student behavior.

Ability to be diplomatic but firm with students.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.
