Compensation Range:

Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $209,201.00 - $236,760.00 / Year depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:

Provides strategic leadership, management, and oversight of nursing structures, processes, and programs with a focus on advancing excellence in professional practice, leadership performance, and clinical inquiry for nurses and nursing support staff. Oversees and optimizes academic affiliations/partnerships, nursing education and development, evidence-based practice, research, innovation, Magnet designation, performance improvement, quality and safety, workforce development/retention, and clinical programs. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.

EDUCATION:
Master's Degree in Nursing or related field or equivalent combination of education/related experience required. Doctorate Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Seven years' relevant experience preferred.
Five years' leadership experience preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

SKILLS:
Proficiency in implementing nursing interventions.
Ability to facilitate and oversee the design of professional nursing curriculum in a healthcare environment.
Working knowledge of ANCC Magnet qualifications and designation process.
Ability to perform historical, physical, and behavioral patient assessments.
Skill in developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans that actively involve patients, families, and staff.
