Senior SSDS (Ship Self Defense System) Test & Eval (Eng Tech IV)

Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services division is currently seeking a Senior SSDS (Ship Self Defense System) Test & Evaluation Technician (Engineering Technician VI) in support of work taking place at Wallops Island, VA. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award.

Required Experience and Education:

• At minimum, a High School Degree or GED
• Active DoD clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Experience as a project team leader responsible for personnel, performance, and schedules,
• At least five years of experience with maintenance, operations and testing of Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) combat system
• Experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of naval combat system or weapon systems functions and operations
• Direct experience of either land-based or at-sea testing of combat or weapon systems, in the development cycle for new systems or sustainment for legacy systems,
• Direct Experience developing Department of Defense standard documentation (i.e., test plans, test procedures, status reports, final reports

Desired Experience:

• Fleet experience of at least seven years in the United States Navy as an Operations Specialist (OS), Electronics Technician (ET), Fire Control (FC), or Electronic Warfare (EW) rating
