Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in Stratford, CT. Interested?

Primary responsibilities include
PC Deployments refreshes, break/fix, re-imaging, etc.
  • Set up and configure PC's
  • Logistical work - IT Hardware inventory tracking and support ; Asset Management
  • Assist in the relocation of customer employees on the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in new location).
  • Basic technical certification, hardware repair, component level knowledge, operation systems (Windows, Unix/Linux, and application knowledge, troubleshooting techniques
  • Performs identified Move/Add/Change activity to include all required computer modifications.
  • Support other personnel as required with the installation/modification of IT duties surrounding PC, network, hardware, software, etc.
  • Sets up and ensures operability of systems and hardware components prior to field deployment. Analyzes failed equipment, performs standard repairs, and tests of components or equipment.
  • Duties includeinstalling, testing, maintaining, and repairing telephones.
  • Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets aka network connect (activation of data drops)
  • Assists with telecommunications equipment and telephone switching equipment related to processing and transmission

Pay: 21/hour

Hours: 4/10, Monday through Thursday

Length: Long term contract ; opportunity of extension

Job Requirements

Here's what requirements you'll need:

  • - High School Diploma
    - Minimum of 3 years of experience with network connectivity assessment (troubleshooting and setups)
    - Minimum of 3 years of experience with technical experience consisting of operation systems such as Windows, Unix/Linux, and Mac
    - Minimum of 3 years of experience with telecommunications and networking

Additional Information:

  • Clean driving record as an MVR might be ran. Please note, you must be comfortable potentially driving company vehicles/cars from site to site.

  • Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
