Arete is seeking an innovative Electrical Engineer, FPGA to join our team in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will work at the cutting edge of technology, designing, developing, and testing electronic systems that include advanced imaging, LIDAR, SONAR, and motion control/pointing solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects with a focus on FPGA development and integration. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for both electrical design and FPGA code development. You'll work on electronic subsystems that support high-bandwidth, multi-channel electro-optic sensors, and ensure seamless integration of hardware and FPGA code to meet system requirements. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be key as you help build complex systems incorporating FPGAs, GPUs, computers, and embedded processors. This is an exempt, non-supervisory, full-time role based in our Tucson, AZ office. Key Responsibilities:

The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $125,000; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. Other Requirements U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility. Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility.
