Service Planner Primary Objective: Ensure ACR Operations and Customer (Internal and External) communications are in sync at all times. Job Requirements
Manage field work orders to include time reporting for technicians Quality Maintain ACR quality standards and promote as a way of life Ensure external communication with customers is presented in a professional manner at all times. Ensure housekeeping standards are established in the office and maintained at all times.
Efficiency
Use Scheduling of People, Materials, and Equipment for Optimum Efficiency Utilize the systems to ensure technicians are scheduled and routed in an efficient and safe manner.
Management
Advocate for compliance with Safety and Quality Promote teamwork, dedication, and set the example. Understand that employees are human and have problems, but also understand their problems cannot affect their job performance. Schedule rental start-ups and preventative maintenance visits with both the customer and ACR resources. Order/pick parts as required for the job Order materials through the purchasing request system. Verify materials Match BOM and ensure all materials meet quality standards Schedule manpower and communicate schedule prior to each week to employees and service manager Periodic check in on long term jobs to ensure work being done meets our standards and customer is satisfied with the job Ensure Service Techs are completing all required paperwork, service reports, start-up reports, customer training logs, etc. Assist service manager with ensuring all work hours are logged each week for all field technicians. Keep the system up to date and ensure all work orders are properly entered, scheduled, and completed, with all necessary paperwork. Emergency Calls: Field emergency call from the customer and gather information required to set up the job Create a work order and assign technician to the job. Compile information required to properly invoice the job, with the Service Manager.
Experience Requirements Minimum three years strong customer service or management experience. Knowledge
- Excellent computer skills and typing proficiency is required.
- Technical/mechanical background related to steam and hot water systems.
- Strong sales and people skills, customer service, safety awareness, and supervisory management skills.
