Job Description	ECU Department of Technology Systems is currently seeking a Lab Assistant. Support of courses includes, but is not limited to the following tasks: Maintain a student sign in/out sheet to document open lab utilization. Maintain neatness and safety of the lab at all times. Enforce all lab rules and policies Maintain security of lab at all times Assist and support students using labs in technology systems Maintain regular posted open lab times Assist instructor in maintenance of laboratory equipment Develop and improve equipment and documentation to support lab activities Support outreach efforts by hosting and demonstrating equipment for visitors and tours
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)	Looking for student with availability in Fall and Spring Semester. Fall semester will be devoted to training, laboratory preparation, set up and technology projects. Spring semester adds the requirement to support and monitor open labs to assist students. Spring is the most crucial time to have a student worker. Prefer TSYS students who have completed ITEC 3020 and ITEC 3021 Will accept other engineering or computer science students with technical and hand's on experience. Knowledge of robotics, cad, and electronics a plus. Will train 20 hours/week max.
