Atlantic Filter in West Palm Beach, FL is where this position will reside. We assemble and sell water treatment products both commercially and to individuals from this location.

Primary Function

Assemble high quality water softener and water treatment equipment.

Role Specific Responsibilities

1. Completes assembly of the components per the instructions
2. Using a variety of hand tools, assembles water softeners, filters, and other small assemblies.
3. Attaches identification labels containing such information as warning labels, product type, and operating specifications.
4. Creates completed units and attaches shipping labels.
5. Works with other personnel to resolve quality issues on improperly functioning or incomplete finished products.
6. Responsible for proper care and cleaning of the equipment, following all safety policies and guidelines and maintaining the area's organization and housekeeping.
7. Responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed.
8. Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy of raw materials in the area and assists with cycle counting.
9. Assists with shipping and receiving as needed.
10. Check for damaged or missing items
11. Store goods appropriately
12. Pick and pack orders for dispatch
13. Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
14. Assists other team members with their operations as requested.
15. Perform other duties as assigned to include general maintenance.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Qualifications:

1. Basic computer knowledge and navigation is helpful. Ability to use electronic information.
2. Prior assembly or warehouse experience is preferred.
3. Ability to make logical decisions as to quality, customer service, and time management. Good problem-solving ability.
4. Mechanical ability. Use of simple math and measuring tools.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Ability to promote a safe and organized work area.
7. Ability to assist with other department functions.

Physical Requirements
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20pounds overhead and maneuver various parts weighting up to 50 lbs.
