Celebrating a Century: https://100.scripps.edu/ POSITION TITLE: Program Manager POSITION SUMMARY: The laboratory of Torben Schiffner is seeking a highly motivated and talented Program Manager to coordinate Alphavirus immunogen design, validation and testing. The Program Manager will work with scientific project leads in carrying out day-to-day project management functions across a range of vaccine antigen design projects. The Program Manager will utilize their project knowledge to prioritize and manage a complex protein production pipeline. The Program Manager will monitor the delivery of program milestones and support the project in the completion of required grant reporting, working alongside the senior scientific team and Principal Investigator. The Program Manager will create efficiencies for the scientific team through the implementation of and adherence to consistent project/program management processes and procedures. The Program Manager will work closely with researchers at Scripps as well as researchers at other academic research laboratories and collaborating global institutions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position works in an office environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process. LOCATION: La Jolla, California. COMPENSATION: The expected hiring range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
