EnSafe is accepting applications for a Payroll/Accounts Receivable Specialist based out of EnSafe's Memphis, TN office.

What We Are Looking For:

As a Payroll/Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be part of our dynamic Accounting Department which fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Review and verify timesheet records and approvals.
  • Process special payments such as bonuses.
  • Assist with payroll audits and year-end processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR on payroll-related matters.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records and files.
  • Record and post cash receipts to the appropriate accounts and invoices.
  • Reconcile cash receipts with bank statements and customer statements.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues with cash receipts, such as missing payments, overpayments, or refunds.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and records of cash receipts and transactions.
  • Communicate with clients and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate cash receipt processing.

Qualifications:

  • Two plus years of relevant payroll accounting experience
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with administration and clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, diplomatically, and with integrity in identifying problems.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, time management skills, and be deadline-driven.

Ideally, you'll also have...

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
