JOB MISSION:

The Associate Apparel Supply Planner is responsible for providing strong customer service balanced with maintaining our apparel supply plan. They will help oversee factory planning that considers global forecasts, actual customer demand, supplier fill rates, and manufacturing capacity constraints. They will be responsible for customer-facing order management to ensure aligned expectations regarding the Apparel production schedule and shipments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Own the 0-6 month supply plan and production oversight for their allocated Apparel suppliers.
* Coordinate planning efforts to set factory capacities, maintain the apparel production plan, and achieve product launch objectives.
* Manage factory constraints in partnership with the HK Operations and Global Sourcing teams.
* Analyze order volume and work with Material Planning for any additional material considerations.
* Move towards achieving our shared delivery KPIs.
* Participate in the monthly Apparel RCCP review and the Global Buy process.
* Create reporting regarding delivery and other planning metrics.
* Provide feedback to the Apparel Supply Planning Manager on challenges related to achieving sourcing and execution goals

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

* Solid communication, teamwork, and analytical skills
* Software proficiency e.g. Excel, Dynamics 365, ERP (o9), etc. preferred
* APICS CPIM certification preferred
* Process documentation and continuous improvement mindset
* Effective negotiation and influencing

Flexible Work Schedule

For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
