Minimum Qualifications:

• Earned doctorate from an accredited institution in Recreation and Sport Management or related field conferred by the start of employment

• An established or emerging research agenda focused on outdoor leadership, outdoor recreation, outdoor education, or related areas

• Evidence of refereed publications and presentations

• Potential for securing external funding

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience at the collegiate level (undergraduate and graduate)

• Experience teaching legal aspects of recreation and/or sport

• Experience working in the field of recreation and sport Management or related fields

• Evidence of effective student mentoring/advising

• Experience with grant writing/management
