Job Title: Innovation & Mindset Strategist - Adjunct Instructor

Department: Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Reports To: Executive Director, Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Job Overview:

The Innovation and Mindset Strategist will be responsible for delivering high-impact training sessions focused on entrepreneurial thinking, growth mindset, and creative problem-solving. These training sessions are designed to upskill employees and enhance process improvements within contracted businesses. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a strong background in entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovative problem-solving, who is passionate about empowering others to drive change and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at contracted businesses, focusing on entrepreneurial thinking, fostering a growth mindset, and enhancing creative problem-solving skills.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the Executive Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and client organizations to develop customized training programs tailored to the specific needs and goals of each business.
  • Process Improvement: Work closely with client teams to identify areas for process improvements and provide actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within their operations.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate participants' progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure learning objectives are met. Adjust training methods and materials as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Client Consultation: Act as a consultant to client organizations, offering insights and guidance on integrating entrepreneurial principles and innovative thinking into their workforce development strategies.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of training sessions, participant feedback, and outcomes. Provide reports to the Executive Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and client organizations to track progress and measure the impact of training.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in entrepreneurial thinking, growth mindset, and creative problem-solving to continuously enhance the training offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Development, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in workforce training, entrepreneurship, leadership development, or a related area.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of entrepreneurial thinking, growth mindset principles, and creative problem-solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver customized training programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners.
  • Experience in consulting and process improvement is a plus.
  • Passionate about teaching and empowering others.
  • Creative, adaptable, and able to think outside the box.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and participants.

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications. Part-Time, Contracted.
