C&C Industrial Sales is looking for a
Warehouse Lead/Filter Cutter to join our team in
Gallatin, TN!
As a
Warehouse Lead you will be responsible for leadership of warehouse team including training and coaching of warehouse staff to improve individual and group performance.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise & execute daily warehouse operations and delegate tasks, providing coaching as needed.
- Ensure accurate pulling of customer pick tickets and stage kits for production.
- Manage inventory controls, including daily/weekly cycle counts and maintaining inventory locations.
- Oversee order fulfillment, shipping accuracies, and resolve issues related to shortages or damages.
- Collaborate with customer service, operations, and procurement teams on customer credits and vendor returns.
- Support building maintenance projects, general upkeep, and trash disposal; assist with continuous improvement and LEAN activities.
- Interact with walk-in customers and respond to warehouse-related questions from Sales and Customer Service.
- Assist with achieving Monthly Goals on the Operations Scorecard and implement procedures for consistent results.
- Filter Cutting, as required
What You'll Need:
- Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or High School Diploma with two (2) years related experience; or relevant combination of education and experience
- Ability to lead a team; preferred prior leadership experience
- Ability to perform, or ability to quickly gain the knowledge of all base warehouse functions
- Proven experience in implementing operational processes
- Proven project management, administrative management, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience utilizing an ERP
- Preferred experience within an industrial distribution and/ or manufacturing environment
- Excellent customer relation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail oriented,including accurate data entry skills
- Capable of working independently, as well as a team member
- Interact with co-workers with a positive attitude to maintain a friendly and productive work environment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to understand written and oral English and be proficient with computer, email, spreadsheets and look up documents online
- Ability to obtain commercial driver's license, if needed
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
- Ability to work in environments that may include:
- Moving mechanical parts
- Fumes or airborne particles
- Painting chemicals and solvents
- Electrical equipment
- lifting (up to 70 lbs) parts to and from bench or cart
