Description |
We are seeking a driven IT Process Manager to oversee and optimize our technology operations, ensuring seamless integration with business processes and functions. Reporting directly to senior IT leadership, this role plays a critical part in aligning IT initiatives with organizational goals, managing resources, and fostering innovation to improve operational efficiency. The IT Process Manager will serve as a bridge between technology teams and business units, ensuring the effective flow of data, compliance, and operational processes. Role Specific Responsibilities:
- Business Process Improvement and Support
- Own the Process Management Office. Facilitate business and IT collaboration to document and continuously improve business processes
- Support implementing and improving business processes
- Attend IT product development meetings as a core team member to allow identification of potential process gaps and opportunity to identify resource needs
- Create process transparency for ongoing improvement through data analysis
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient flow of data and operations
- Support technology assessments to identify opportunities for process improvement/innovation
- Work to develop and improve communications regarding IT processes and process change
- Manage the IT Process Catalog archive and ongoing process document audit cycle
- Technical Knowledge and Adaptability
- Stay current with emerging technology trends, particularly in business intelligence and data analytics systems.
- Maintain a strong technical skill set, leveraging tools like Power BI & Microsoft Excel.
- Problem Solving and Innovation
- Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives and business process problem solving
- Assist in training, mentoring, and assessing team members to foster development.
- Exercise autonomy and sound judgment to resolve issues effectively.
- Take responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business
- Global Coordination and Flexibility
- Manage teams and resources across multiple global locations, accommodating diverse time zones and availability.
- Lead an offshore Center of Excellence team in process development, execution, and continuous improvement
- Maintain effectiveness when navigating changes in work structures, processes, or cultural contexts.
- Project Management and Digital Transformation
- Also own the Project Management Office. Manage the team that helps drive digital transformation in the organization.
- Encourage innovation by identifying opportunities for new approaches to address challenges and drive change acceptance.
- Resource and Budget Management
- Oversee resource allocation across IT teams, identifying and resolving gaps in project timelines.
- Manage IT budgets to deliver outputs that meet client specifications and align with business objectives.
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal requirements.
- License and Contract Management
- Assist the US & Global IT Managers in the license management process.
- Oversee the IT contract management process and communicate with suppliers as necessary to ensure IT compliance with requirements set forth by Legal and Procurement teams.
Compliance:- Complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and arrangements
- Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly
- Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times
Problem Solving and Innovation:- Active participation within continuous improvement activities
- Participates in problem solving
- Takes responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business
- Assists in the training, mentoring and assessment of other team members

Qualifications/Desired Skills
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Significant technical knowledge, with ability to apply knowledge to business process solutions
- 5-7 years of professional experience, working in IT operations and process improvement
- Hands-on experience with acquisition, integration and migration projects
- Ability to manage highly confidential information
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to formulate processes which parallel overall business strategy
- Experience with process reengineering and identifying tools to make business more effective
- Experience with business process mapping to evaluate current states/propose future states
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to flex own style to influence and engage diverse stakeholders
- High level of flexibility, self-motivated and adaptable to fast-paced environments
- Critical thinking skills and analytical abilities allowing for situational assessment of opportunity
- Experience with an Agile delivery approach
- Strong understanding of Power BI and SQL data tools
- Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics
