Equipment Service Technician - Miami, FL

Performance Health is looking for an Equipment Service Technician to join our growing Field Service team. As a Service Technician, you provide troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical repair, calibration, and safety inspection of rehab exercise equipment onsite at customer locations. The Service Technician learns and follows manufacturer guidelines relative to repair of equipment. Training is supplied by a mentorship program with other technicians, manufacturers and online training courses.

Applicants should have a solid understanding of mechanical systems and be proficient with tools and equipment commonly used in repair work.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Determining equipment, tools and maps needed to complete delivery or install
• Installing and repairing exercise equipment (treadmill, recumbent bike) onsite at customer locations
• Ensuring all equipment is fully functional before leaving customers facility

• Following specific manufacturer, Federal, State and BRH guidelines related to all repairs
• Relaying any specific problems to Service Manager and/or Capital Service team following each delivery

• Completing all related paperwork and managing vehicle inventory
• Performing other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience as a medical equipment and/or fitness equipment service technician
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Electrical/hydraulic and mechanical experience
• Ability to travel daily within assigned territory
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Strong work ethic with a proven successful track record
• Organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
