These interns will be fully immersed in the materials management side of manufacturing and operations. The interns will own projects to drive continuous improvement while also learning first-hand the day to day operations involved in scheduling, material planning, warehousing, inventory control, customer disruption management, supply chain management, logistics, etc. These individuals will contribute to Steelcase operations while applying academic learning in REAL LIFE situations and enhance their resumes. What You Will Be Doing:
Your Future Team: You will be a member of the Planning and Scheduling team in the Kentwood West manufacturing plant. Our focus is to ensure manufacturing is supplied with the necessary materials to run production, while also setting the most efficient manufacturing schedules to follow.
