Are you a strategic sales leader with a passion for driving growth in the foodservice distribution channel? Join our team as the Executive Director of Field Sales Operations and lead a dynamic team of business development professionals to deliver outstanding results.


About the Role:

As the Executive Director of Field Sales Operations, you will be responsible for executing key business strategies across the rapidly growing foodservice distribution channel. This senior role reports directly to the VP of Foodservice and involves leading a national team representing our products through direct and broker sales activities.

Location: Hatfield, PA 19440, USA
Type: Full-Time, On-site
Travel Required: Yes, 35%


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute sales plans across the distribution channel to achieve growth on key priorities and deliverables.
  • Budget Management: Build and manage the sales budget in collaboration with Sales Directors, ensuring performance aligns with the stated budget.
  • Customer Partnerships: Collaborate with corporate account executives from companies like Sysco, PFG, Ben E Keith, and US Foods to develop joint plans, including targeted sales efforts, marketing plans, category optimization, innovation launches, and promotional activities.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with internal support teams to promote sales growth and advocate for key opportunities and projects.
  • Training Programs: Develop best-in-class training programs for both the overall sales process and the pork category to ensure the team operates effectively and efficiently.
  • CRM Optimization: Collaborate with the internal support team to enhance our CRM technology platform, enabling key development activities.
  • Market Insights: Provide market insights to marketing, pricing, insights, culinary, and operations teams to develop programs that deepen strategic customer relationships.
  • Broker Management: Evaluate and develop partnerships with supporting brokers to drive incremental growth and profitability.
  • Team Development: Coach, mentor, and develop key sales leaders to ensure continual professional growth.
  • Corporate Initiatives: Participate in key corporate initiatives as a team member or steering team member to ensure cross-discipline efforts meet corporate objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience leading a diverse, remote sales team, with a preference for foodservice channel experience.
  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as required (35%).
