Overview:
As the FSQA Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our commitment to food safety and quality. You'll lead and develop a team of QA professionals, manage day-to-day food safety incidents, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise with leadership, supporting our production processes and ensuring the highest standards in food safety and quality.

Start Time 5:00 am, Some Saturday's required

Who You Are:



  • A proven leader with at least 2 years of people management experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, or a regulatory field.
  • Highly skilled in food safety protocols such as HACCP, SSOP, and familiar with USDA or FDA regulations.
  • An effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experienced in managing sanitation operations and resolving food safety incidents.


What You'll Do:



  • Lead and develop a team of QA professionals, ensuring they meet performance expectations and departmental KPIs.
  • Manage resolution of daily plant incidents relating to food safety and QA, acting as a liaison with USDA when necessary.
  • Oversee sanitation operations, including the execution of the master sanitation schedule and intensified cleanings.
  • Participate in the implementation of new product launches, process changes, and ongoing validation of CCPs and other processes.

Bachelors (required)
Experience
2 years: Minimum 2 years of people management experience preferred. USDA or FDA experience preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access skills. Strong written/verbal communication/presentation skills.
