Rotating Equipment Technician Lead to join our team in
Newington, CT!
As a
Rotating Equipment Technician
Lead you will be responsible for the leadership of Field Technicians in the region, as well as hands on repair work of rotating equipment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and some electrical experience, light machine work, communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
What You'll Do:
- Lead a team of rotating equipment technicians.
- Perform maintenance and repair on rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines.
- Perform light machine work such as lathe and mill operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You'll Need:
- HS Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the maintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge and some electrical experience required.
- Light machine work experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License required; ability to travel within the region to customer site, including occasional overnights.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
