Project Engineer I

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Project Engineer I to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow.

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion
• Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and team leadership
• Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions
• Responsibilities are within the Program Management Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering technical or science discipline required (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in technical leadership roles
  • 2-4 years of experience in a Project Engineering role (preferred)
