Ice Rink Attendant - Part-time Seasonal WHAT YOU WILL DO The Ice Rink Attendant monitors and assists customers, ensures that customers skate in a safe manner according to the posted rules, and serves as the first point of contact in case of injury. The Ice Rink Attendant monitors the surface of the ice, fill in holes, report problem areas to the Zamboni drivers to ensure a quality skating experience for the customer. The Ice Rink Attendant interacts and welcomes customers to the Pro Shop, issues skates, and advises of proper fit and lacing techniques. The Ice Rink Attendant operates a cash register at the main entrance of the Pro Shop and / or in the concessions area. The incumbent must be knowledgeable of proper food handling techniques and health department regulations for the concessions area. The Ice Rink attendant restocks the concession area, shovel snow and ice around the rink, remove trash and clean tables. *The Crown Center Ice Terrace is open to the public 7 days a week. We're looking for Ice Rink Attendants who can work weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays). All Ice Rink Attendants must be available to work Saturday evenings, 5:00pm - 11:00pm. There are a couple of openings Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 5:00pm. Additionally, Ice Rink Attendants must be flexible and available to work day or evening shifts. Work schedules will vary between the hours of 9:00 am to midnight through the week and on the weekend.
