Job Title: TOOL MAKER

General Purpose: Build and install tooling/dies according to specifications and operation.

Details:

Location: Bushnell, FL

Hours Per Shift: 8 hours - Monday to Friday

Pay: Starting pay $26.24+ Increase after 90 days

• Experience in the operation of CNC and manual Lathes, Milling machines, Grinders and general tool room equipment.
• Must be able to utilize precision measuring tools.
• Fits and assembles jigs, fixtures, tools and dies.Sets up, runs off, and tests tools and dies to produce a product to specification.
• Troubleshootsand repairs machinery and die sets. Focus on tooling.
• Reads and interprets blueprints or works from verbal or written instructions or from the part to be copied or fitted.
• Familiar with Sheet Metal Fabrication and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Safety - Comply with all company and federal safety rules, policies and procedures to include wearing required safety equipment (PPE). Respond to safety concerns and taking appropriate action.
• Be able to perform in a team environment and also be self-directed as situations dictate.
• Computer - Must be proficient with a computer and have good communication skills. Proven workingknowledge of CADsoftware is required.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Building and repair of single stage and progressive dies

Formal education or 3-5 years of tool making and repair experience or equivalent education/experience required.

The facility is not a climate-controlled plant.
