General Laborer - Elyria (Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm)

Location: 359 Lowell St. Elyria, OH

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

FLSA: Nonexempt

This position requires physical dexterity, continuous physical activity, and the ability to safely work in a fast-paced environment

The general laborer will be responsible for completing the following job duties:

• Assembly, inspection, sorting, packaging, housekeeping, and any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
• Some assignments include painting nozzles and engraving
• Maintains a clean work area. This includes putting things away at the end of the day and/or when the job is complete such as tools, parts, etc.
• Regular attendance.
• Responsible for following agency safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, program participants, co-workers and supervisors.
• Load, unload, and move materials.
• Performs various physical duties as assigned.

High School Diploma/GED required. No prior experience or training.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Be able to lift up to 55lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform physical labor.
• Ability to stand, squat, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, walk, push, pull, crouch and crawl for long periods of time.
• Works safely so as not to cause injury to yourself or others.
