Are you a compassionate and dedicated professional with a passion for supporting those navigating grief and loss? Join our team as a Bereavement Coordinator and play a crucial role in guiding individuals and families through their bereavement journey while fostering a supportive and caring community. In this role, you will use your expertise and sensitivity to provide direct support to bereavement clients, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs through grief support groups and one-on-one sessions. Your strong communication and listening skills will be essential as you manage and support our dedicated team of volunteers. You will recruit, train, and mentor these volunteers, ensuring they are well-prepared and motivated to assist those in need. Additionally, you will coordinate grief support groups, match facilitators and space holders, handle advertising, and solicit feedback from participants. With a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of relevant experience, you are well-versed in grief support and program development. Your ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain a positive attitude will be vital as you coordinate grief support services and collaborate with both clinical and non-clinical team members. Experience in a community healthcare setting is preferred, and proficiency in English, both written and spoken, will be crucial for clear and effective communication. Your responsibilities will also include developing and distributing grief-related materials. You will be involved in creating educational programs on loss and grief, contributing to our bereavement library, and coordinating various community outreach initiatives. If you are driven by a deep sense of empathy and possess the skills to lead and support others through their grief, we invite you to apply and make a meaningful impact in our organization. Join us in our mission to provide compassionate care and build a supportive environment for those navigating one of life's most challenging times. EDUCATION
