Job Title: Associate Project Manager

Location(s): Thousand Oaks, CA



Responsibilities:

The Associate Project Manager will work with a cross-functional team to manage, track and analyze key operational data.

In addition, the Associate Project Manager will stay informed of best practices and provide innovative, impactful ideas to optimize processes to support the organization's priorities.

Responsibilities Include:

* Provides Project Management technical expertise in all project phases across multiple projects.

* Leads the teams in defining project goals and milestones against realistic timelines, assigning project tasks, tracking daily activities, and ensuring the team meets all project goals from contracting to final study reporting.

* Able to anticipate and resolve conflicts with the aim of a win-win outcome.

* Creates project plans, roles and responsibility matrices, risk and issues logs and other key project artifacts.

* Plans and conducts project team meetings.

* Prepares presentation material, project reports and dashboards.

* Supports contracting activities (as appropriate) for the organization.

Qualifications :


  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, ok with presenting, BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, life sciences, or other technical discipline; Advanced degree preferred.
  • Must have Smartsheet experience,
  • Must have a good understanding of Agile principles.
  • Must have some experience in Agile project management and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFE, etc.),
  • Demonstrated capability to influence without authority, drive detailed project planning, and lead projects execution,
  • Demonstrated proficiency & adaptability with related software tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Miro, Visio, SharePoint, MS Teams, OneNote, Office 365, etc.);
  • Preferably within engineering or pharmaceutical/biotech industry
