Weichert Insurance Agency is hiring an Administrative Support Associate at its Morris Plains, NJ location. The Administrative Support Associate is responsible for answering phones, opening and distributing mail and checks, as well as retrieving carrier mail. In addition, this position manages the inventory and ordering of Agency supplies. The position also handles mailing of marketing letters to clients and assists with the setup of new hires and employee moves. The position is also responsible for providing as needed administrative support to the Agency.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Answers the phone in a polite manner and transfers the call to the appropriate person, department, or voice mail.

* Opens and distributes incoming mail, emails and faxes to Agency employees. Logs and distributes checks

* Checks the office voicemail and delivers the messages to the appropriate people.

* Acts as the main point of contact for all Agency supply orders. Places orders and tracks inventory of supplies.

* Performs special projects as assigned by management.

* Stocks kitchen supplies.

* Responds to general inquiries.

* Manages service calls for maintenance on building and equipment.

* Performs other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

* High school diploma or GED

* One (1) to two (2) years of related administrative experience preferred

* Working knowledge Microsoft Office suite of products

* Good oral and written communications skills

* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

* Good attention to detail
