Description:
NSI requires a Senior Materials/Systems Engineer- Metallurgy to support the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Materials Laboratory. The Materials Lab supports the FRCSE Aircraft/Component production lines as well as a multitude of Fleet Support Teams across several type/model/series Naval Aircraft. The material lab is instrumental in conducting engineering investigations as well as supporting mishap investigations. This position requires a strong knowledge and experience deal with metallurgy. The candidate with have a wide variety of test equipment in which to conduct analyses. The candidate will be required to author reports, communicating their findings with recommendations and conclusions to those requesting analysis. This position will be on site (no remote) at the FRCSE. Engineering degree is required.

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Education: BS or BA degree in Engineering.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience conducting analysis of various metals/aircraft components

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is Required. Must be U.S. citizen.
