Description: NSI requires a Program/Contracts Manager to support our Corporate Office. As a Government Acquisition Specialist, you will be at the forefront of managing and advising on various government contracts. This role requires a candidate who is not only adept at multitasking and adapting to new challenges but also someone who can organize and prioritize work effectively to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities: - Efficiently support multiple government contracts, ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations. - Prepare, maintain, and update contract documentation, and monitor performance metrics. - Conduct comprehensive analysis and provide recommendations on acquisition strategies. - Develop and deliver professional presentations to internal and external stakeholders. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the acquisition process. - Use proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, to compile data, create reports, and deliver compelling presentations. - Provide clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization and with government officials. Qualifications: - Proven experience in government/DoD acquisition and knowledge of government/DoD contracting. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. - Exceptional interpersonal skills with a personable demeanor. - High adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Professional presentation skills with an aptitude for effective communication. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). - Ability to work independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision. Location: Panama City Beach, FL/ Norfolk, VA/Virginia Beach area Education: BS or BA degree in Business or Science. Relevant certifications in government contracting or acquisition will be considered an advantage. Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a similar role involving government acquisition and contracts. Allowable Substitution: A high school degree and proper/related experience in requirements may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is Required. TS is preferred. Must be U.S. citizen.
