Network Payroll Application Analyst - Senior

This position can be onsite at our offices in South Burlington, VT or remote.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Network Payroll Application Analyst - Senior leverages both broad functional knowledge and a high level or technical aptitude to consult, recommend, develop and improve the Payroll system s functionality and performance. They are responsible for application configuration, testing and support; business process analysis; and functional application system management for the payroll systems at all UVMHN affiliates as well as working with end-users, vendors and internal Information Technology (IT) staff supporting Kronos Workforce Central Timekeeping and Scheduling, Nursing Operations, staff supporting Kronos Scheduler, and HR and IT staff in supporting Workday. The incumbent will support all of the University of Vermont Health Network (UVMHN) affiliates for Kronos timekeeping and Scheduler and Workday payroll. Additional responsibilities include generating accurate payroll and tax reports, reconciling taxes for quarterly and annual reporting, and providing customer service to all affiliates.

The Network Payroll Application Analyst - Senior will mentor team members across the Network and assist with coordination and oversight of workflow including all HR departments.

EDUCATION:

Baccalaureate Degree in Business, Accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience from which such knowledge and skills would be acquired

EXPERIENCE:

Four or more years' experience in analysis and configuration utilizing computer based Payroll and Timekeeping/Workforce Management systems. Experience in automated payroll processing with a strong understanding of FLSA overtime and multi-state taxes. Kronos Workforce Timekeeper and Workday experience preferred.
