About the Role:
The SVP, Forensics, will be responsible for supporting the overall strategic direction, growth, and operational excellence of the firm. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of forensic accounting and the insurance industry, along with a track record of success working in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of the firm s long-term strategic plan, including market positioning, service offerings, and business development initiatives.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, expand client relationships, and build strategic partnerships.
- Participate in business development efforts, including the preparation and delivery of educational or training presentations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture to recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and exceeding expectations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging forensic accounting techniques.
- Oversee the quantification of insurance claims and litigation support matters on behalf of insurers, loss adjusters, attorneys, etc.
- Support the development and training efforts of staff and middle management to encourage their growth and the growth of the firm.
- Represent Ampcus at business and community functions to maintain existing client relationships and develop new ones.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification(s) to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in key related skills such as ABV, CPA, CFE, or similar.
- Minimum of 10 years of forensic accounting, litigation support, business valuation or related experience.
- A valid passport and the ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required for both client engagements and business development efforts.
- A record of progressively increasing knowledge, skill, responsibility, and independence.
- Individuals in this position must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Confidence to handle confrontation, pressure, and deadlines.
- Skilled at building relationships with others.
- Fluency in English is required. Additional languages are beneficial but not required.
