About the team

Cards & Money Movement is a product team that is responsible for building and servicing a diverse set of payments products that serve financial institutions, credit unions, and Fin-Techs.

The product set is comprised of solutions that facilitate end-to-end card transactions -from the card processing platforms that handle authorizations and settlement, to fraud tools and platforms that prevent and detect fraud, to customer facing websites and apps to manage the cards. The division is also responsible for money movement products including ACH and Real-Time payments.

What you will be doing

This particular Project Management Office (PMO) is part of the Strategy and Operations function, that works across these Cards & Money Movement (C&MM) team to set goals, drive initiatives, and create alignment across the organization.

In this role, you have the opportunity to bring best program and project management practices to cross-functional product initiatives in the C&MM Team.

This role is highly visible, will be responsible for setting the cadence for effective cross-functional collaboration, and distilling large amounts of information into concise and organized deliverables. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Lead high-impact complex programs: Oversee planning, implementation, and execution of programs aligned with our strategic objectives, working closely with senior leaders.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with program sponsors, cross-functional teams, and product teams to develop scopes, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for complex initiatives.

  • Manage risks: Identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects, analyze, evaluate, and mitigate risks, and produce comprehensive program reports for leadership and stakeholders.

  • Continuous improvement: Enhance operational efficiency by improving processes for better transparency and accountability.

  • Client Communication and Expectation Management: Communicate clearly with senior-level client stakeholders, effectively manage client expectations, manage scope, and escalate concerns.

What you bring

  • 7-10 years of progressive project and program management experience, managing complex, large-scale initiatives and influence outcomes.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally to deliver projects with qualitative excellence.

  • Problem solving and execution mindset. Consistent and organized approach, with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and develop mitigation strategies for potential risks.

  • High proficiency project management tools, including Microsoft: Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of articulating, presenting, and debating recommendations with both executive and technical audiences, effectively partnering with all levels of management.

  • Familiarity with the Banking industry Products and Services lifecycle. (e.g. retail banking, commercial banking, lending, etc.)

  • General understanding of Payments processing technology. (e.g. issuer processing, ACH, Network and associated tools/platforms)

Added bonus if you have

  • Knowledge of payments products (e.g. issuer processing, ACH, network).

  • Deep Agile development experience.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $117,620.00 - $197,580.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
