Materials Coordinator - 2nd Shift

Acara Solutions has partnered with our client in Sauk Rapids, MN to hire a Material Coordinator for a 12+ month contract assignment.
Hours: 12pm - 8pm M-F
Rates: 16.73 - 22.60 + 10% shift Differential
Job Purpose
This position will primarily move products within the production facility. This will include finding/storing/issuing/receiving materials on shelves or in racking, pulling materials for production, unloading/loading trucks, and ensuring that inventories are accurately updated. This will be a fast paced position.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inventory management - ensuring that all materials are documented accurately in the inventory management system.
  • Receives, issues, and delivers materials/product to the production area as needed
  • Manage Storage, Delivery and Ordering of Kanban assigned items
  • Storage of materials/products on shelves and in racking
  • Communicate with co-workers in various departments to ensure accuracy of material delivery
  • Cycle counting
  • Data system transactions
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year experience as material handler
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Forklift Certified
Computer savvy
