JOB SUMMARY:

As a General Labor for Carl Buddig & Company, you will be responsible for preparing/packaging fresh and frozen meat products for shipment with a safety-minded attitude that maintains and enhances a safety culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- General Labor:



  • Pack fresh and frozen meat products.
  • Required to work in cold temperatures 40
  • Must be able to stand for 8-9 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends, if/when necessary.
  • Ability to effectively follow work instructions.
  • Assist in changeovers as needed.
  • Ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Able to read and understand written instructions.
  • Ability to perform frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
  • Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
