Position Summary As a part of Student Engagement and Wellness at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, the Center for Equity and Student Achievement (CESA) is committed to student safety and well-being by fostering a university community of integrity and respect. This position is integral to CESA, providing equity-minded, holistic support services and retention programming. This position is primarily responsible for the facilitation, planning, and execution of the Epic Scholars Program. The Epic Scholars Program provides retention services and support to students who are in former foster care, emancipated, unaccompanied youth, experienced formal kinship care, or court-appointed guardianship. This position coordinates the applicable case management responses for Epic scholar students who experience challenges that may interfere with their retention and timely graduation. This position identifies and executes program assessments to ensure the performance of programs and initiatives to achieve strategic goals. This position supports and reports to the Associate Dean/Director of TRIO SSS. It engages directly with other professional staff across the institution daily to provide timely responses to various complex student needs and support program participants' academic development and career readiness. Salary for Announcement The minimum of the pay range for this position is $45,300. We anticipate the qualified candidate to be placed between $47,300 - $56,650. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. Additionally, Student Affairs has committed to tying our salaries to an understanding of a living wage. To that end, we will not pay less than $47,300. The above salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
