Job Description:

  • Optimize and extend existing DSP algorithm.
  • Design algorithms for communication systems.
  • Determine analog front end dynamic ranges and whole system link budget.
  • Verify DSP algorithm with ASIC team using hardware co-simulation or C/C++ bit true modeling.
  • Validate DSP system using lab equipment.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Master degree is required, Ph. D in EE is a plus
  • Familiar with mixed-signal IC design flow
  • 7 - 8 years experience ,2+ years experience in ASIC DSP design is a plus
  • Strong background in Digital Signal Processing concept and algorithms
  • Experience in design and simulation in Matlab
  • Experience in wired or wireless communication system is a plus
  • Experience in implementation in Verilog or VHDL is a plus
  • Must be analytical, creative and a good communicator
  • Strong team player
  • Fluent English

Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in California, is $88,000 - $232,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
