Summary:
Responsible for the overall shift coordination of Shipping/Receiving activities to ensure that the correct schedules, procedures, actions and documentation occur for the unit.
Responsibilities include ASN monitoring, PLEX, scheduling, inspection and documenting in the Receiving and Shipping Dept. and Tow Motor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
All employees are required to actively support and follow all safety rules and keep the work area clean and orderly.
Primary Duties include:
- Operate overhead cranes: cab controlled, and radio controlled to support plant as needed.
- Receiving of material/MRO in VCS using computer system, performing inbound inspection of material - including any pending, as assigned.
- Shipping out of VCS using the computer system.
- Ensure that the Shipping area is running correctly and efficiently on an ongoing basis
- Organization of workload to accommodate customer requirements
- Documentation of incoming inspection results
- Assign material to proper locations and record
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Locating missing or invalid tags in the computer system
- Documentation of outgoing inspection results
- Daily housekeeping of Shipping /Receiving area
- Physical inventory of area as required
- Label all inbound/ receive shipments.
- Maintain floor organization (Tow Motor)

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalency
Skills and Abilities
Demonstrate proficiency in all associated job duties in the Shipping area.
Strong communication and prioritization skills
PC experience / Tag Tracking
Ability to get along well with fellow employees

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk continuously, bend, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.
Repetitive grasping of parts or utilizing air guns requires grip strength of 50 pounds.
Good vision is required to inspect work. This position requires continuous mental and visual attention to operate machinery involving repetitive or diversified work which requires constant alertness or activity.
