As a CENTRAL STORES TECHNICIAN, you will be trusted to partner with the Maintenance organization to ensure they have the spare parts needed to keep the lines running efficiently within the ASPEX MANUFACTURING FACILITY at FORT WORTH, TEXAS, (US).
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Greet everyone with a warm greeting at the Stores' door or over the phone
- Help customers identify parts they need
- Work with stakeholders to reduce unnecessary spot buys
- Partner with Maintenance to understand parts and support needs
- Maintain a clean and orderly store operation
- Review, establish, and maintain ROPs and EOQs
- Restock point of use areas on the factory floor
- Run replenishment reports to determine items that need to be ordered
- Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders to procure items
- Create Ariba purchase orders for controlled items, perform goods receipts in Ariba, and create tickets to resolve system issues (when needed)
- Contact vendors, manufacturers, distributors or resellers to get quotes, place POs, and track progress
- Facilitate communication between engineering, maintenance and vendor to resolve any parts questions
- Contact shipping companies to track packages and coordinate deliveries.
- Work with Quality Assurance Material Inspection (QAMI) and ASPEX warehouse staff to track, organize and efficiently move controlled items through the inspection process
- Maintain inventory accuracy at 98% and above
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement projects to improve Central Stores processes
- Be able to use pallet jacks, lift and move heavy items
- Be able to move, climb, and carry material up and down stairs
- Ensure all work conforms to current Good Manufacturing Practices and meets all Standard Operating Procedures.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- Work hours: 1st Shift - Monday through Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm
