IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking an Chemical Engineering Graduate in our Saline, MI office. As a Chemical Engineering Graduate, you willwork closely with a team of experienced engineers and consultants to provide engineering solutions and advice to clients to ensurepositive outcomes. Primary responsibilities will include assisting in engineering analysis,design, and implementation oversight of chemical processes. This position will be expected towork within the project's monetary budget as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams tomeet project goals and client expectations.

Principal Responsibilities
* Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, andcommunicate technical information effectively; Build and maintain client relationshipsthrough professional communication
* Work as part of a project team to support the execution of consulting projects. Assist inproject planning and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives
* Assist with documenting design decisions and instructions from clients while monitoringproject design progress
* Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions.Collaborate with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical and efficient
solutions
* Development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's)
* Development of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's)
* Assist in the development of equipment and instrument specifications
* Perform field work to document existing conditions and current installations
* Support cost estimate development including quote solicitation from vendors
* Assist in process controls design and development; Perform engineering calculations;Perform and document technical calculations associated with design tasks

.Assist in bid package documentation development

* Review project construction progress

.Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs andsolutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards and client requirements
* Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices inchemical engineering; Contribute to research, development, and innovation effortswithin IMEG
* Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work; Identify and mitigate potential safetyrisks associated with process plant environments
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, andproject managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals

Required Skills/Abilities
* Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production oftechnical plans and specifications
* Skilled in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant 3D
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
* Basic knowledge in the use of BIM software
* Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
* Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Ability to travel up to 5% with occasional overnight stays

Education and Experience
* Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
required
* Prior internship experience in the engineering consulting or chemical process industrypreferred
* Engineering in Training (EIT) License preferred

* Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
* Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull
