Location: Bronx, NY Position: Special Events Supervisor $75k a year starting salary! The Special Events Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day ambulance operations in support of special events in the Greater New York City area. These include the scheduling of ambulance staff at special event venues, facilitation of internal communication between field staff and management, outside agency and customer interface, equipment and supply maintenance, site visits to venues to assess crew performance as well as other operational support functions as assigned by the Manager of Operations. Serving Customers at Madison Square Garden, Yankee Stadium, Radio City Music Hall and Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, among others! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule and direct special events employees.
- Coordinate with recruitment team to ensure the company has an adequate pool of special event personnel.
- Direct point of contact for CrowdRx and special events customers as it relates to ambulance coverage.
- Provide direction and oversight to operational support staff as necessary.
- Ensure written policy and procedures are in place for each venue. Maintain and update policy and procedures as needed.
- Ensure maintenance of quality field operations through daily contact, oversight, communication, and evaluation of ambulance staff.
- Assess daily equipment, supply and vehicle needs for events. Coordinate service as necessary.
- Ensure daily medical event service hours are reconciled and submitted for reimbursement.
- Ensure 100% of operational response exceptions are brought to closure with appropriate action.
- Respond to and resolve customer and staff inquiries and complaints in a consistent and timely fashion.
- Investigate events involving assigned units or staff, including the completion of internal reports, operational leadership notification, counseling, reinforcing policy, and recommending training as necessary to CES.
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

- Perform other duties required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience as an EMS provider.
- Special events experience preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Demonstrated skills and experience in evaluating, instructing and coaching all aspects of the delivery of pre-hospital care.
- Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of the operations protocols policies and procedures
- Current State certification as an EMT or higher as well as all AMR requirements
- No written disciplinary action within the past six (6) months of employment
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
