Position Summary Manage and oversee lighting work activities for theatre operations in the Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions. Assess lighting needs for theatrical productions. Serve as the production electrician for musicals, opera, plays, concerts and other events in the department's performing arts venues. Prepare and maintain lighting equipment for theatre operations in coordination with the Assistant Technical Director. Provide technical services to classes via training and supervising other staff/student technicians assigned to classes, recitals, etc. Train and supervise technical staff and student workers performing lighting related maintenance in all theatre spaces and during departmental events. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $72,000.00 to USD $88,000.00 New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
