Position Title: Production Line Lead
Wage: $24.00/hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm or 3:00pm - 11:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Production Line Lead that will drive efficiency, foster teamwork, and innovate in a dynamic environment. Production Line Lead Responsibilities: - Develop workload schedules with consideration to production demands and on-time delivery requirements - Delegate various duties among team members with clearly defined instructions - Follow safety and housekeeping rules to create a safe working environment - Identify opportunities and implement solutions for process improvement and increased efficiency - Assist in training and provide guidance to other operators as needed - Adhere to all applicable safety practices while working with and around hazardous chemicals - Use basic geometry to calculate surface areas of various parts - Cross functionally support other lines or work areas as needed and complete other tasks as assigned - Support company objectives related to effective communication and accurate turnaround - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, periodic testing, and performance evaluations Requirements for Production Line Lead: - High School Diploma or GED - At least two years of previous leadership experience in a production environment (aerospace, chemical, or meal preferred) - Good computer skills with understanding of Microsoft Office applications - Advanced arithmetic skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide) - Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus - Able to work overtime and flexible hours as needed - Strong attention to detail - Excellent communication skills schaumburg@qpsemployment.com IND133 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
