Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced Sales Professional based in Carmel, IN. This individual will be responsible for successfully nurturing and cultivating relationships, networking, and event planning with our market areas. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    Work closely with our estimating and operations teams.
  • Build effective, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Prepares and presents information to prospective clients/owners regarding Company's construction experience and capabilities.
  • Communicates with client representatives to gather information and clarification regarding project scope.
  • Assist teams in preparation of proposals and qualifications for potential opportunities.
  • Align yourself with similar companies and key clients.
  • More management of the customer alignment log and keeping our teams accountable.
  • Highly active on LinkedIn (Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.).
  • Market PCI and project status through social media.
  • Establish key client profiles.
  • Promote PCI by participating and setting up booths in relevant industry association events, conferences, and other opportunities that pertain to our scope of work.
  • Plan Lunch and Learns with key clients on a monthly basis.
  • Host client specific open houses at our office.
  • Help plan dinners, lunches, happy hours, or other events with key clients.


Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in this field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or comparable work experience.
  • Ability to build customer relationships required.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, regional offices, and onsite projects as required.
  • Ability to work well with others and act as a leader required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Indianapolis market.
