Research Assistant I

The Research Assistant will provide support to the Principal Investigator with the biomedical science research in the Department of Physiological Science.

Order and organize supplies, contribute to the overall lab administration
• Prepare reagents and solutions for general use, routine lab work
• Maintain mouse colonies and genotyping
• Instrument maintenance
• Perform cell culture work
• Assist with cell culture experiments, western blot analysis, and qPCR
• Collection and analysis of data
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's in biological science or related. Prior research experience in mice colony maintenance, genotyping, and cell culture work is highly preferred. Prior experience in biochemistry and immunology experiments is beneficial.
