Overview
The International Banker is responsible for building, managing and retaining a portfolio of international affluent individuals, and entrepreneurs. The Banker expectation is to meet and exceed goals by developing new Wealth and Depository relationships from prospects and existing clients. Through a proactive need based selling approach, the banker will cross-sells bank products, including but not limited to Treasury Management Services and consumer lending products. The Banker will collaborate with the assigned partner to establish, build, and expand Commercial Relationships for affluent individuals (non-domestic). The International Banker is expected to deliver the highest level of client service to the client base while adhering to the Bank's BSA/AML, Compliance and Policies and Procedures, responding to all client requests on a timely basis and providing prompt and white glove service. Responsible for the development of International Private Clientele through business development, social functions, association memberships and development of relevant international COIs. Qualifications
- 2-4 years of direct sales and International Personal Banking development experience.
- Must have prior International client experience, large international clients book portfolio, variety of countries they deal with, international COIs already established.
- Must be highly capable of meeting sales goals, independent activity in direct banking sales and credit support as well as maximizing cross-sell opportunities and relationship profitability.
- Must be Bilingual in Spanish and English (speak, write, and read fluently in both languages)
- Possesses solid knowledge of banking products.
- Ability to manage large accounts independently.
- Experience working in a sales team, and high-quality service advocacy.
- An in-depth knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act/AML requirements is required.
- Knowledge on the completion of KYC is required.
Education
- Associate's Degree in Finance, Business or a related field required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or a related field preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
- FINRA licenses 7 and 66 is highly desirable. However, it's essential to note that these licensing prerequisites might undergo modifications overtime. Should management deem it necessary employees in this role, may be asked to obtain series 7 and 66, with a stipulation that such licenses must be fulfilled within 180 days from the date of request.
