Job Description Summary

Under the direction of the Administrative Coordinator, this position provides additional administrative support to the Plant Leadership Team and backup support for the Administrative Coordinator. In addition to typing, filing and scheduling, performs duties such as food and beverage procurement, coordination of meetings and events setup, assists with mailings and presentations, maintains supplies, and works on special projects. Deals with a diverse group of callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.

Job Description

Administrative:
  • Food and beverage procurement and setup for meetings, events, and training sessions.
  • Assist with scheduling and organizing employee engagement activities.
  • Assist with plant tour preparation.
  • Assist with preparing and updating PowerPoint presentations.
  • Respond to regularly occurring requests for information.
  • Assist with placing messaging on plant digital signage systems.
  • Provide support with making travel arrangements and filing expense reports.
  • Monitor office supply inventory and order as needed.
  • Sort and distribute mail for the leadership team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Other Department Assistance:
  • Provide support to HR during interview events
  • Provide ad hoc support to other departments
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma required, Associate's Degree in administration preferred. Experience:
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience working in an administrative support role
  • Proficient in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as the ability to learn other office application and technology
  • Ability to communicate at a high level
  • Ability to meet deadlines under conditions of short notice
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent editing and grammar skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
