Position Summary

The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center,
Department of Internal Medicine, seeks exceptional faculty members to join a
dedicated group of medical educators in the Division of Hospital Medicine to
work jointly at the University of New Mexico main campus in Albuquerque and
Sandoval Regional Medical Center in Rio Rancho. The position is open rank/open
track. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education. We offer an
excellent benefit and compensation plan, and a rich quality of life in the high
desert of New Mexico.

  • Overseeing upper-level residents/APP's in their cross-cover and admitting roles
  • Closed ICUs, limited procedural requirements for hospitalist

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine by date of
    hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience/interest in
    nighttime medicine
  • Experience/interest in
    medical education or quality improvement activities
  • A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion,
    and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
